The Good Lives Manifesto 2024
With a General Election due to be called this year, it is more important than ever that the voices of people with learning disabilities are heard within politics and policy.
Back in 2020, people with learning disabilities, families and organisations started coming together to think about what living Good Lives means to them.
This was supported by Learning Disability England, the member-led national organisation which brings together people with learning disabilities, families, organisations and paid supporters.
The Good Lives Manifesto 2024 has brought together contributions from more than 400 people and organisations on what they think are the most important priorities for the next government to take action on to make Good Lives possible.
You can read the manifesto and find ways to get involved on Learning Disability England’s website by clicking this link: https://tinyurl.com/glmfs24 (opens new window)
The manifesto is also supported by a briefing document offering more information, details on why each priority is important, and linking to original campaign pages.
