The rights of older people inquiry opened

The Women and Equalities Select Committee have opened an inquiry which will consider key issues faced by older people, and is inviting written submissions of evidence.

Gathering perspectives from older people themselves as well as expert witnesses, the inquiry will examine how well older people's rights are protected under Equality Law and whether there is an adequate framework to champion older people's rights. The Committee are also asking what steps are required to prevent older people from being digitally excluded. The deadline for submission is 31 October 2023.
