This week's HLINks: 10 - 14 April 2023
This week, we put the spotlight on the HLIN Cymru Steering Group by publishing our new Welsh prospectus. The prospectus showcases the group's work and aspirations and extends an invitation to organisations interested in housing for older people in Wales to become part of our family of sponsors.
In other news, today is the deadline for organisations to express interest in becoming an exclusive sponsor of our external news management at the Housing LIN. This is an ideal opportunity to be closely associated with our news platform, e-bulletin, and other information-sharing activities. Don't miss out!
This week, I participated in productive meetings with the HoME Coalition (opens new window), advocating for greater accessibility in new homes up to at least Part M4 (2), and the Dementia & Housing Working Group (opens new window), promoting greater awareness of dementia in our sector.
Other items that caught my interest this week include:
- UKRI Healthy Ageing Challenge news: (opens new window) Funding for 16 projects announced
- Healthy City Design 2023 conference (opens new window): Call for papers
- RIBA coalition fire safety campaign (opens new window): call for 2 staircases for residential buildings above 18m
