This week's HLINks: 14 - 18 March 2022

Welcome to #Jeremytalks (opens new window) and our must-read weekly bulletin, HLINks (opens new window), week-ending Friday, 18 March 2022.
In this week's HLINks, we lead on the House of Lords debate on housing for older people led by Baroness Sally Greengross and the government's response on establishing a cross-departmental taskforce on housing for older people. We look forward to sharing further information about the Taskforce, expected after the Easter recess.
This week also saw further details released about recruitment of an Evaluation and Shared Learning Partner for The Dunhill Medical Trust (DMT) funded TAPPI2 Project, in association with the Housing LIN and the TEC Services Association (TSA). The deadline for submissions is Friday, 8 April 2022.
And yesterday, the Centre for Ageing Better published their flagship report, The State of Ageing 2022, which provides a comprehensive view on how people are ageing, compiled from public and government data sets, including a key section with information on housing.
Other news that caught my interest this week, includes:
- Government Announcement: a package of measures to put an end to unscrupulous landlords exploiting some of the most vulnerable in our society.
- Policy Press book (to order): The Environments of Ageing: Space, Place and Materiality
- Ageing Issues article: Four pathways for improving co-research methods with older people (opens new window)
- Learning Disability England framework: Good Lives: Building Change Together
- Shakespeare Martineau solicitors Green Homes Report: What Buyers Want
