Understanding Your Audience: Elevating Marketing Approaches for Housing for Older People

26th-Understanding-Your-Audience

The Housing LIN Summit - A Festival of Ideas is back for a week-long virtual event filled with inspiring conversations starting Monday, 26 February 2024. Join us for FREE sessions every morning and afternoon to watch, listen, and learn from prominent figures in the housing, health, care, and technology industries.

What is the latest consumer research into the housing preferences of older people? This session will answer this and provide examples of how the specialist housing sector should respond to better market its later living offer.

๐Ÿ“… Monday 26 February 2024
๐ŸŒ Online - Zoom
๐Ÿ•’ 2:30pm - 4:00pm

Chaired by Jeremy Porteus, CEO of Housing LIN, you'll hear from:

  • Louise Drew, Partner and Head of Building Communities, Shakespeare Martineau - @SHMALaw

  • Dr Carole Easton OBE, CEO at the Centre for Ageing Better - @Ageing_Better

In addition, with the Older People's Housing Taskforce exploring how well are older people aware of their housing options and where they can access information and advice, we'll gain insights from the Centre for Ageing Better’s Good Home Hubs pilots on how older people are supported to navigate the complexities of what housing best suits their lifestyle choices.

We will also learn from their CEO, Dr Carole Easton OBE, about their latest campaign challenging the way we think about ageing, Age Without Limits (opens new window), and consider whether we could do better to address a negative stereotype of housing for older people.

We are extremely grateful to all the sponsors who have made this year's Housing LIN Virtual Summit - A Festival of Ideas, possible. This session is supported by Associate sponsor Shakespeare Martineau (opens new window)
