Using Technology Enabled Care to provide better outcomes

In the lead up to our annual conference, Vision 2020, and as part of our accompanying series of guest blogs, Zillah Moore, Marketing Director at Tunstall Healthcare, has written a blog the Housing LIN about the need for co-operation between health, social care, and housing providers, using Technology Enabled Care (TEC).

This piece is based on a recent roundtable event held by the Housing LIN and the Local Government Association. The event featured discussions about the use of TEC to improve outcomes by enabling better collaboration between providers.

Moore discusses barriers to adoption, the need for privacy and consent in using data, and concludes that in order to move from small models to wider adoption we will need robust networks, and legislation regulating the use of technology in care.
