Description of Scheme
The Village will be home to over 350 local older residents, with 262 apartments for affordable rent and purchase and a host of social and leisure facilities to enjoy.
Each home has its own front door opening onto a wide, bright corridor. Many homes will also have their own balcony. The apartments themselves have good sized rooms, and are built and equipped to the highest specifications, with central heating and double glazing. All have wheelchair access.
The design features comply with the HAPPI criteria. The village will be built to Code Level 3, BREEAM Very Good and have a combined heat and power plant.

Where Is It?
The Village will be located at Earlsdon Park, on the site of the former Butts Technical College, occupying three acres of a newly-created re-development area. The site also includes a refurbished theatre, proposed restaurant, Premier Inn, food store and café.
The area surrounding Earlsdon Park consists of rows of Victorian terraced houses and a few small shops. Adjacent our site we have the railway line to the West, Coventry Rugby Club to the North and the Department of Education offices, Premier Inn hotel and the Albany Theatre to the East.
