Communites Can Report

This report on the ‘Communities Can’ partnership between Stonewater and Community Catalysts summarises an eleven-month journey across three localities to take more community-centred approaches, supporting staff, residents and wider stakeholders with practical tools to understand and develop the assets and strengths of local people and their places, sharing ideas, approaches and positive practice in order to spread and scale learning and inspire impact across the wider organisation, including digital inclusion.

The report highlights the benefits organisationally of the ‘Communities Can’ approach but also points out the complexity of securing the time and resources needed to support building up the capacity of staff and stakeholders, as well as digital participation; for example, Stonewater’s ‘We are digital’ project to overcome digital exclusion.
