Following the publication of NHS England Healthy New Town guide, this report from the King’s Fund features a collection of essays covering a range of relevant considerations for successful place-shaping.
This includes: the role of council planning, taking a community development approach to local health, the role of public health, redesigning primary care, utilising digital technology and the role of development. It makes a number of recommendations to adopt the learning from the programme, including the better integration of care.
