Delivering Dignity

Securing dignity in care for older people in hospitals and care homes. A report for consultation.

This paper is a draft response to last year's Health Service Ombudsman report that drew attention to failures in the delivery of hospital and residential care for older people. Whilst not housing specific, the recommendations are a useful set of measures that should be applied wherever dignified personal care is delivered at home, including the end of life of care.
