This is the government response to the second report of session 2017-19 of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee inquiry into housing for older people, which was published on 9 February 2018.

The inquiry has looked closely at a wide range of issues affecting older people and the government has considered the Committee’s findings and recommendations carefully in formulating its response.
