Healthier and Happier - An analysis of the fiscal and wellbeing benefits of building more homes for later living

This report, commissioned by Homes for Later Living, explores the wellbeing benefits of living in properties for later living and the significant fiscal savings they can deliver to the NHS and social care system.

The report is the first of three papers making the case for building more homes for later living. Future studies will investigate the positive impact that more homes for later living would have on the wider housing market and we will assess the significant benefits that local communities receive from building more homes for later living.
