Improving outcomes, enhancing care
This report argues that the adult learning disability sector deserves a Sector Deal.
It is estimated that, in England alone, there are around 150,000 adults who are in receipt of social care services for people with learning disabilities.
Due to the lifelong and complex nature of these people’s needs spending on learning disabilities accounts for around one-third of adult social care spend in England.
This report sets out the case for a deal for the learning disability sector, focusing on realising the potential of technology to boost investment and transform the way care is delivered.
