Mental Health Accommodation, Support and Human Rights: A practitioner's guide

The British Institute of Human Rights, a charity working to support organisations to use human rights to improve health and care services has published this booklet.

It is about human rights in accommodation based support settings for people with mental health issues.

It is aimed at support workers, mental health practitioners and anybody else working in residential settings where mental capacity or mental health is a factor.

We use the term 'practitioner' throughout to include anyone working in these settings (e.g. qualified and unqualified workers).
