Quality of Life Framework 2.0
This Framework from the Quality of Life Foundation covers a number of key themes to help understand how one's home and neighbourhood affects one’s health and wellbeing. It outlines the evidence base and includes case studies that exemplify good practice.
Using research to highlight six quality of life themes - a sense of control, health equity, connection to nature, a sense of wonder, getting around and connected communities - the Framework is intended for use by community groups, housing developers, planners and designers, architects, investors, housing associations, operators and local authorities.
This is the second version of the Framework, with the first having been created in 2020. It sets out how, by placing greater emphasis on health and wellbeing, communities, developers, designers and local authorities can create better places for people to live.
