In this report, Dr Dianne Theakstone of the Intersectional Stigma of Place-Based Ageing team reflects on the ISPA team's experience at the first ever summit at the Scottish Parliament to celebrate people living with disabilities, held in November 2023.

It reflects on agency and language, 'being in the room where it happens', that housing was missing as a key theme of the summit, and includes six key take-away points from the summit discussion.
