Supporting People Programme Grant

The £136 million Supporting People Programme in Wales provides housing-related support to help vulnerable people to live as independently as possible, including older people in specialist or sheltered housing.

Against a backdrop of tighter public expenditure, guidance issued by the Welsh Government in June 2013 outlined a new delivery structure for delivering cost-effective arrangements through better commissioning and procurement of quality services.
