Meet Cicily, Housing LIN’s new Senior Data Analyst

Hi, I am Cicily, and I am a Senior Data Analyst for Housing LIN!

I am a recent Business Analytics graduate from the esteemed University of Nottingham and with a seasoned background as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to the table. My journey into the realm of data analytics began with a fascination for uncovering patterns, trends, and insights hidden within the vast sea of information that surrounds us. My course revolved around how to turn data into practical insights that drive real business results. I did dissertation that focused on sentiment analysis, a powerful tool that can gauge public opinion and sentiment from textual data, enabling us to understand community feedback, identify areas for improvement, and tailor our services to better meet the needs of people.

Having moved from India to the United Kingdom for my master's studies, I realised the crucial importance of housing and building a fair and equitable society where everyone can lead a decent and dignified life, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Working at Housing LIN is more than just a job!! Every day, I can make a tangible difference in people's lives, providing innovative housing solutions for an ageing population.  This sense of purpose drives me to strive for excellence in everything I do. I love being part of a team that is dedicated to addressing societal challenges and creating positive change in our communities. Also being a part of the network that connects individuals, ideas, and resources to enhance the range of housing choices available for older and disabled people, enabling them to live independently with dignity gives me fulfilment and joy!!
