- Celebrate the broader work of the Housing LIN, engaging in discussions on various learning and improvement activities aimed at championing better housing, health, and social care, as well as supporting choices and technological solutions for an ageing population.

Reception hosted at House of Lords following a successful Housing LIN Summit
We were pleased to extend a very warm welcome to the event's sponsors and guests at our reception hosted by Lord Best at the House of Lords on Wednesday 13 March 2024.
The reception provided an opportunity to:
- Celebrate the recent success of the Housing LIN Summit 2024 - A Festival of Idea
- Extend appreciation to several organisations that have commissioned our small consultancy team
- Congratulate the 2023/24 cohort of participants in the Future Leaders Programme
Alliance’s plan to tackle “colossal” challenge of housing and ageing
A national strategy is needed urgently to address the housing needs of our ageing population, according to the Housing and Ageing Alliance (HAA) of which Housing LIN's CEO, Jeremy Porteus is a member.
The call is among a 15-point plan calling for a national older people’s housing strategy, strengthened information and advice, more support for home adaptation and strengthened planning guidance to increase the supply of older people’s housing.

Working with partners on this new housing steering group will help us highlight the benefits of intergenerational connection, write Charlotte Miller and Emily Abbott, co-founders of Intergenerational England.
They highlight the Intergenerational Housing Steering Group (IHSG) in collaboration with Clarion Housing Group, Sovereign Network Group (SNG), HACT and Housing LIN.
