Last week at the ITEC Conference 2024 we were pleased to launch the findings from Phase 2 of the TAPPI (Technology for our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation) project in collaboration with the TEC Services Association (TSA) and kindly sponsored by The Dunhill Medical Trust.
These findings encompass the new TAPPI Principles - co-produced with residents, customers and partners - and the tools to aid and inform others seeking to improve the way technology is used to support people living independently.

News Highlights
APPG Inquiry: Regeneration of Outdated Sheltered Housing
The preliminary findings and recommendations from The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Housing and Care for Older People Inquiry into the Regeneration of Outdated Sheltered Housing were presented at a meeting on Wednesday 6 March 2024 at the House of Lords, a recording of which can be found here.
Input from those who attended the event will help the Inquiry shape its final report, which is due to be launched in early June.
DemECH resources impact evaluation survey invitation
In February 2024 you may have read the resources resulting from the DemECH project (“Supporting people living with dementia in Extra Care Housing”).

UK Enablement Awards 2023: The Most Outstanding Innovator in Housing and Social Care in the UK

Collecting his award at a ceremony on Friday at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Jeremy said:
