HLINks Weekly: Housing, Health, and Social Care Latest News

23rd September 2024

Coinciding with World Alzheimer’s Month, we are proud to host the Dementia and Housing Working Group’s second webinar in its quarterly series focused on housing and dementia.

🌐Online - Zoom
🗓️Tuesday 24th September 2024
🕒3.30pm - 5.15pm

This webinar addresses the challenges surrounding diversity. According to research, Black people are approximately twice as likely as white people in the same community to develop Alzheimer’s disease. Older LGBT people are more likely to be single and more likely to live on their own than heterosexual people.

Innovating in the name of inclusivity means creating solutions, products, and environments that consider and address the diverse needs of all people, regardless of their background, gender, beliefs, abilities, or circumstances.

So if you're involved in housing and dementia, particularly housing providers, community groups, local authorities and people living with dementia, this webinar is for you!
