Supported decision-making and the recent Covid briefing (#3) on housing and supporting with dementia
The briefing looks excellent and the section on 'Making decisions about health and wellbeing' is both useful and important. However, it's really important to remember the first three principles of the Mental Capacity Act and the emphasis on supporting people to make their own decisions. It would be helpful if the briefing said a bit more about this. Does anyone have a good example of supported decision-making by people with dementia under lockdown?
