Housing LIN’s South West Leadership Set meeting focuses on enabling communities

SW Set Feb 25

We were delighted to be joined on our online meeting today by Tom Chance, CEO of the Community Land Trust Network, and Kathleen Woodhouse, a community development worker from Bristol, who set out national and local approaches to community enablement; from the work of Community Land Trusts to stimulate a vision for community led housing to Asset Based Community Development approaches that are inspiring new ways of engaging communities in Brislington, Bristol, funded by St Monica Trust. You can watch a short film of one community activity here (opens new window).

We also welcomed two new members to the South West Leadership Set – Hayley Selway, CEO of Two Rivers Housing Association, and Sara Crofts, Senior Projects Manager, Extra Care Housing, at Gloucestershire County Council. And look out tomorrow for a Housing LIN guest blog by SW Leadership Set member Josie Dorling, of Poynton Bradbury Architects.
