This week’s HLINks: 6 – 10 February 2023
Welcome to #JeremyTalks, my overview of what caught my interest this week.
We are thrilled with the level of interest in our Summit - A Festival of Ideas commencing Monday, 27 February. Such has been the demand for the 10 FREE sessions (opens new window) we are now opening each session to a minimum of 300 participants! Register now or share with colleagues before registrations close 12 hours before the start of each session.
This week, we were pleased to release a new Housing LIN case study (opens new window) (No165) on a new extra care scheme in Preston. Written by Levitt Bernstein architects, it describes their work for Community Gateway Association and how they collaborated with the local community in the development of The Courtyards. Co-designed to the HAPPI principles it was shortlisted in last year's Housing Design Awards.
A couple of other things that caught my interest included:
- This year's Housing Design Awards (opens new window) deadline has been extended!
- New NHS England NHS estate web resource, Building for Health
- the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (opens new window) announces £53m housing funding for drug and alcohol recovery
- Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee (opens new window) announces inquiry into government's planning reform proposals
- Tunstall Healthcare (opens new window) news story celebrating National Apprenticeship Week
Lastly, we are always keen to hear stories, receive your good practice case studies and thought leadership. If you would like to contribute, email us at: comms@housinglin.org.uk (opens new window).
Stay connected, stay curious!
