Accessible London: Achieving an Inclusive Environment

The Mayor of London published this supplementary planning guidance to the London Plan in October 2014 which sets out the principles of inclusive design and how they can be implemented through the planning and development process in London. The guidance covers the design of buildings, public space and infrastructure to enable the inclusion of people living with disability and frailty. Cross references are made to other relevant SPGs for London including those for housing which specifically promote inclusive access to the built environment for disabled and older people.
