Published by DCLG, these seven research papers seek to understand the costs, benefits and practical implications of applying the Lifetime Home Standard (LHS) to new build housing development. In keeping with the government's localism agenda, the DCLG state that they do not intend to introduce national regulation and any decisions to adopt LHS will need to made locally, in proportion to local need and aligned with demand for other local housing support and information services
