This week was Mental Health Awareness week, and we published a new Housing LIN Viewpoint on tackling loneliness among older people. We also published two blogs on the theme of mental health. This week also saw the publication of the interim report from the Social Integration APPG. This week saw Deaf Awareness Week 2019, and Housing LIN Viewpoint 95 looks at hearing loops, and what extra care scheme managers need to know about them. We also have a new blog about rightsizing, a survey for Housing LIN Cymru members, and our usual roundup of the week's news.

This week we published our new Inspirational Achievement, looking at Connect by United Welsh. We also launched our new video page, and published two new blogs looking at Building Information Modelling and Modern Methods of Construction and how these approaches can be used to meet the rising demand for high quality housing for older people. Wednesday saw the Housing LIN Annual Conference 2019. The event was a great success and enjoyed by everyone who attended. We'll be sending an e-alert next week with full details and highlights of the Conference.

This week also saw the launch of the final video in our 'Spotlight on Extra Care' series, we published a new blog by Shirley Hall, and ExtraCare Charitable Trust launched a new report into integrating health and care.
